Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
Specialist disability accommodation (SDA) is a range of housing designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. SDA dwellings have accessible features to help residents live more independently and allow other supports to be delivered better or more safely.
Importantly, only those participants are eligible for SDA, who have very high support needs and meet the requirement of specialist disability accommodation according to the NDIS funding criteria.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a shared living experience for people with disability who have SIL funding in their NDIS plan.
The aim of the home and living supports decision process is to make sure we fund the right option for participant’s care and support that will work for them now, and in the long-term.
SIL covers support for personal care needs and participating in domestic tasks, including indoor and outdoor activities.

Respite Care (Short-term accommodation)
Respite Care or otherwise known as STA (Short Term Accommodation) gives extra support to carers by allowing carers to take a break for a period of time. From a couple of hours to a weeks or as long as you need. (Depending on your eligibility and needs).
Respite Care can help ease the stress and allow you to have a more healthy balance in your life, allowing you to take holidays, have days off and help to relieve stress. All While still making sure that your loved one is getting the care that they need.

Development -Life Skills
We can provide training and development of life skills, including personal hygiene, toileting, personal care, preparing a healthy meal, maintaining cleanliness in-home, laundry, communicating with service providers and many more according to your needs.

Household Tasks
At High Care Australia, we can support NDIS participants in an array of household tasks such as assistance with domestic chores, including assistance with cleaning, dishwashing, clothes washing, fresh linen and ironing, in order to maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment for our clients.

Daily Tasks/ Shared Living
Assistance With Daily Tasks/Shared Living focuses on developing and enhancing domestic skills that allow clients to live autonomously. It can also be delivered within shared living such as units or host family arrangement. It includes support for self-care, accommodation and activities within a residency.

Assist Life Stage Transition
High Care Australia has a life transition support program which includes support connection and coordination, mentoring, peer support, individual skill development, assistance with decision making, daily planning and budgeting. Our support plan focuses on strengthening the participant’s ability to coordinate their supports, and assist them to live more independently.

Home Modifications
Due to safety, comfort or adaptive living issues, people want to make changes to their home. As we all want to feel comfortable at home, High Care Australia is here to fulfil all your desires in regards to any change around your house.

Community Participation
High Care Australia enables you to live independently as possible, while assisting you to build your skills and learn new things. We provide NDIS participants with support to meet goals relating to participating in community, social, recreational activities or spend time with friends.
A support worker will be always there for participants ‘assistance to take part in social and community activities.

Accommodation/Tenancy
High care Australia can provide one on one assistance to achieve your Accommodation and Tenancy goals. Our Accommodation and Tenancy service can include assessment, individual case planning, practical one on one assistance, liaising with service providers and capacity building assistance to support people to achieve their individual goals.

Assist in Travel/ Transport
Our expertise can provide NDIS participants with travel assistance to build capacity to independently travel. Transport supports include personal transport-related aids and equipment, or training to use public transport. We can also support your transportation requirement for several activities like taking you for medical appointments, getting your shopping, work and place of education, and around your vicinity.
